Things to consider before starting on any exercise program when you are pregnant?



First and foremost be honest with yourself about what has been happening with you before you became pregnant, and make a checklist of the following before even considering if exercise is for you during this pregnancy. Mainly you should exercise for the right reasons to reap the benefits. The questions you need to answer are:

A) Do you generally feel healthy and positive about your pregnancy? Don't exercise because everyone else you know is doing it.
B) Were you exercising before you got pregnant? Your body needs to adjust to the physical movements if you are a newcomer to working out and be prepared to stick to a light regime.
C) Finally do you have any problems with this pregnancy or your previous pregnancy? You will definitely need your doctor to okay it before making any arrangements.
