backaches during pregnancy, are there any exercises that can help my back?

During pregnancy 9 out of 10 women face this problem of backache, and it particularly occurs in the last trimester when the baby load gets more intense. Back pain is mostly in the lower back but can also hurt the middle back of some. Posture becomes a key issue to managing this problem. Avoid slouching, work on sitting and standing straight to prevent back strain. Sitting upright with the aid of a birth ball or cushions will keep the abdominal muscles in proper alignment. Many studies show that women who do some workout are less prone to aching backs. Exercises such as walking, swimming, yoga (only those poses that are suitable for pregnant women) etc helps with keeping the joints supple and mobile. Work on stretching out your lower back if you are already facing this problem. Certain yoga poses and pelvic tilts done when you are standing or sitting will give the lower back a work out. Warm baths, massages, hot and cold compresses can act as further aids.
