Does every woman have this line forming called Linea Nigra?

Linea Nigra (or black line), a line that runs from the navel to the pubic bone seems to be a prerequisite of pregnancy. As with other skin darkening, the linea nigra doesn't reduce in darkness and is not preventable even if you avoid sun exposure. It tends to first appear in the second trimester and darkens with time, the intensity depending on your skin tone. Linea nigra is harmless except that you may not be too happy with the appearance. There is no conclusive finding on why melanocyte concentrates in a single line in this particular area though there seems to be suggestions claiming that all women have this line, pregnant or otherwise. This line darkens during pregnancy for many but remains 'invisible' or white for some. You may get it in one pregnancy and not the next. But one thing is for sure, being a pregnancy trademark it fades away gradually but surely, after you deliver.
