The 2 Ps Puree For Babies

1 ripe pear, cored and diced 1 prune chopped 1 tsp baby rice This combination has both fresh and dried fruit and a good source of fiber, potassium and vitamin C.

1. Simmer both fruits in a little water for about 5 minutes or till soft.

2. Puree to the desired consistency with the water used for cooking. Sieve to get rid of any stubborn prune skins. Stir in the cereal and serve while warm.

3. Juicy pears are favored. You may substitute prune with peach
