Tropical Fruit Salad For Babies

1 small piece of ripe papaya, 1 small banana & yogurt Papaya is a rich source of beta-carotene while banana provides vitamin B6 and together with calcium from the yogurt your baby will enjoy this mashed fruit salad.

1. Remove all the seeds and skin from the papaya and mash it with fork after dicing it.

2. Cube the banana and mash with a fork till pulpy. Combine both fruits and then stir in the desired quantity of full cream yogurt. Serve

3. A good substitute to banana will be a nice ripe mango. Again mangos are a rich source of beta-carotene and vitamin C. Instead of yogurt you can grate in half a teaspoon of cottage cheese to the mix.

Note: An important consideration to take into account when preparing this category of foods is ensure these purees are prepared just before your baby is ready to eat.
