What to pack - medical kit and the etceteras

Since minor accidents are probable and the incidence of falling ill is there when you are abroad, it is sensible to carry along a basic first aid kit in your hand carry luggage. Carrying the essentials is akin to being 'safe than sorry'. Please include these:

Children's paracetamol, antiseptic wipes and cream, travel sickness tablets, plaster in assorted sizes, calamine lotion, sunscreen lotion, insect repellant, and a thermometer. A change or two of clothing, a full day's worth of diapers (if your child is not potty trained), medications for motion sickness, digital camera, lots of carrier bags or zip lock bags for disposing soiled clothes and diapers.
